About

I am a Guelph, Ontario-based circus artist, aerialist, performer and instructor specializing in dance trapeze, static trapeze, duo trapeze, hand-balancing and static cloud swing.

A former competitive gymnast, I've trained in a range of dance styles from contemporary to Waacking and serendipitously stumbled into circus arts in 2010 while living in Nancy, France. Since then I've had the opportunity to work with world-renowned instructors and artists in Europe, the UK and North America in a wide variety of aerial and ground disciplines. I successfully completed the Achieve pre-professional program for circus artists at Cirque-ability in Toronto in 2017, majoring on static trapeze under the mentorship of Angola Murdoch (Lookup Theatre).

My creative work seeks to blend the artistry and physical discipline of circus arts to explore and bring to life ideas, themes and—often comical and strange—characters and personalities. I have greatly enjoyed the opportunity to create and perform original acts for shows, events and festivals across North America. 

When I'm not upside-down, I can be found exploring the outdoors with my toddler, thrifting for vintage clothing or hammering away on my 1930s German typewriter.
